Mikaela Ayira Releases First Single “Mr. Mine” Post The Voice

Mikaela Ayira, the 18-year-old singer from Johns Creek, GA, who charmed America as a Top 20 contestant on Season 26 of NBC's The Voice, has released her brand new single “Mr. Mine.” The track is now streaming on all major platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music.

With refreshing acoustics and a plucky pop vibe, “Mr. Mine” creates a soundscape driving themes of flirty optimism. The yearning and confidence in the lyrics reflect the instrumentation with strong basses and impactful choruses. “‘Mr. Mine’ brings a feel-good, fun, and flirty vibe to listeners,” says Ayira. “It’s a pop song that also includes a blend of live sounds.”

Emerging singer-songwriter Annah Marcelle, who has self-released 20+ songs, is the composer and lyricist of “Mr. Mine.” Ayira and Marcelle have been social media friends for years, sparking the collaboration. The song was written by Marcelle in March 2024 and the collaboration and production of the single began earlier this year.

Ayira, who earned a spot on Team Snoop on Season 26 of The Voice, is currently attending Berklee College of Music to further her music career. During her time on the show, Michael Bublé said, “Listen, Mikaela's a pop star in the making. It's gonna happen.” “Mr. Mine” is Ayira’s first release since her journey on The Voice, and reflects her remarkable growth as an artist.
